My husband ordered me Tom Ford Miranda’s for Christmas. The sunglasses came and I loved them. One week later one of the legs broke, just snapped off when I opened them to put them on. I contacted Designer Optics and they were really nice and said that they are covered under factory warranty and for $10(fee for dealing with the manufacturer themselves), they will be replaced. It was very important that I sent them with a signature required upon arrival. I did as they requested and waited for a couple weeks to hear back but never heard from them. I called them and they assured me that the sunglasses were received and it was up to the warehouse to process the return. They told me that when they send me an email with an invoice to pay the $10 fee then they will send them. A couple more weeks go by and I called back and they informed me that my sunglasses are no longer available and that is why I haven’t heard a word from them. I told them that I would like a refund because I only wear these style of glasses and this was my fourth pair and I have only changed colors. They told me that I could only replace them with another pair or equal or lesser value. I asked to speak to a manager and explained my concerns of not wanting a different pair and to please help me since I have been so patient. I left messages and sent an email to the manager asking to please get a refund so I could get my sunglasses elsewhere since they were available on Amazon. I never heard back from that email. When I called an associate they said that this would be a case for the department that handles payments and that a manger will call me back in 30 minutes. I never heard back. Finally when I felt defeated and scared I was going to lose my money altogether I searched thier website and found a pair that I thought were the same pair or very similar. So I sent a final email asking if I could please replace with this other pair and for someone to please get back to me because I am getting concerned that I’ve lost my money and finally I got an email back saying that the replacement will go through. I soon after that actually got a call from the manger which I knew it was them because I had programmed the phone number in my phone so I wouldn’t miss any calls. She said she had sent me multiple emails and tried calling me which is not true and I got no messages or missed calls or emails. I am at least grateful I got a new pair of sunglasses although I do not like them as much as my Tom Ford Miranda’s but afraid to try to exchange and I will definitely never order from designer optics again.

2- Send the product back to us following the instructions indicated in our e-mail and to the address we will provide you.
3- Make sure to confirm with us via e-mail the shipping date, the shipping service you used and the tracking number whenever you have
4- Include details of the return and how you would like for us to go about it (refund, store credit, exchange, etc). Designer Optics is not responsible for items damaged along the way.
Please allow us 3 to 5 business days from when items are received for us to process the refund. The amount to be refunded will not include shipping charges. if the order consists of 3 or more frames we will charge a 20% Restocking fee. otherwise only the shipping will be deducted.
