DESCRIPTION RATINGS & REVIEWS PRESCRIPTION GUIDE

The Kliik K-776 brings Scandinavian minimalism to women's prescription eyewear with a modified square shape that balances structure and sophistication. Built from lightweight stainless steel in a semi-rimless design, these frames deliver clean lines and understated elegance—without the weight or bulk of full-rim styles.

Lightweight Stainless Steel Construction

The K-776 is made from stainless steel—front, frame, and temples—for a durable yet remarkably light feel. Stainless steel resists corrosion, maintains its finish over time, and offers hypoallergenic comfort for sensitive skin. The semi-rimless design reduces visual weight while keeping the frame strong enough for daily wear. At 49mm lens width with a 16mm bridge and 135mm temples, the K-776 fits most face shapes comfortably.

Four Distinctive Color Combinations

Choose from four refined two-tone finishes: Black Rose Gold (M200) pairs matte black with warm rose gold accents, Taupe Gold (M214) offers soft neutral tones, Ocean Gold (M104) combines cool blue-gray with gold, and Slate Rose Gold (M203) blends charcoal with rose gold detailing.

Prescription-Ready for Your Vision Needs

The K-776 is fully prescription-ready and compatible with single-vision, progressive, and blue-light filtering lenses. The semi-rimless construction works well with most prescriptions, though very high prescriptions may require consultation with our opticians to ensure optimal lens thickness and appearance. The single-bridge design and adjustable nose pads provide a secure, customizable fit for extended wear.

Available in four colors from $130.14. Free shipping and lens customization options included.

Deceiving web sight

Your web sight is plastered with free returns with in 14 days. And when you get your prescription in and it's wrong you don't take them back. It's very misleading especially when you put in your prescription correctly and there are other options out there that do accept returned unused prescription glasses. . You also give a 1-5 day estimation for delivery. It actually took over a month. 700$ for glasses that are not even correct. Never again for me....

I was skeptical

For 60 years I have a hard time finding very petite metal frames to fit (plastic fall down my nose and overwhelm my face). Because of insurance changes to Medicare, I was without an optometrist willing to order ‘try-ons’ for me. (I get progressives, progressive transition, and computer).

I went to various offices around town as well as Costco many times checking out their inventory of too big frames.
I googled for months looking at online inventories, but was unwilling to order anything I hadn’t tried on, or pay return shipping or restocking fees.

I finally found a great helpful optometrist office that had a lot of petites and worked with me. They had a pair I had been eyeing online…that were $275 (markup). I bit the bullet, bought them and took them to Costco for computer glasses. (I have a very complicated RX so online ordering is out of the question). I was so pleased with the frames and I can finally see again.

So, what did I get from DesignerOptics?
The same frame in a different color for Transitions. (other online sellers didn’t have this particular one). These fames were almost $100 less. Were they the same or knockoffs??? I laid them side by side and examined every part and they look identical except for color. The logo case, cleaning cloth, lens template, paperwork and well packaged.

One wonderful note….I was concerned about shipping time, (and possible returns). The shipping was only a few days. East coast to west coast. Far faster than quoted. I was even sent updates and a tracking number!

At least in my case, buying frames online is very scary but I feel good about this big step I made. I just wish it was easier to get tyros without the huge fees.

Trouble getting a refund

The frames were returned per instructions and with the label provided and tracking service shows they were delivered to the appropriate return address, but I never received a refund and it’s been over 2 weeks. Can you help me with this please?

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the Kliik K-776 eyeglasses prescription-ready?

Yes, the K-776 frames are fully prescription-ready and compatible with single-vision, progressive, bifocal, and blue-light filtering lenses. You can customize them with anti-reflective coatings, Transitions photochromic lenses, or other lens treatments during checkout. Our licensed opticians review every prescription order to ensure accuracy.

What face shapes work best with the K-776's modified square design?

The K-776's modified square shape works well for oval, round, and heart-shaped faces. The semi-rimless design softens the frame's visual weight, making it more versatile than full-rim square frames. The 49mm lens width and 16mm bridge fit small to medium faces comfortably. If you have a very square or angular face, rounder frame shapes may be more flattering.

How durable are stainless steel eyeglass frames?

Stainless steel frames like the K-776 are highly durable and corrosion-resistant, often lasting three years or longer with proper care. The material resists bending, maintains its finish even with exposure to moisture or sweat, and is hypoallergenic for sensitive skin. While stainless steel is less flexible than titanium, it offers excellent strength-to-weight ratio at a more accessible price point.

What is the difference between semi-rimless and full-rim eyeglasses?

Semi-rimless frames like the K-776 have a solid frame along the top (browline) with minimal or no frame around the sides and bottom of the lenses. This design is lighter than full-rim frames, creates a less obstructed view (especially in the reading area), and offers a more minimalist, professional appearance. Semi-rimless frames are particularly popular with women ages 45-60 for their ability to soften facial features without looking heavy.

Are Kliik eyeglasses good quality?

Yes, Kliik eyeglasses are well-regarded for their quality construction, comfort, and distinctive Scandinavian design. Customer reviews consistently mention the lightweight feel, durability of materials (stainless steel, acetate, titanium), and unique color combinations. Many wearers report receiving compliments on their Kliik frames and note they're comfortable for all-day wear.

What are the frame measurements for the Kliik K-776?

The K-776 has a 49mm lens width, 16mm bridge width, and 135mm temple length (written as 49-16-135). This sizing fits small to medium faces comfortably. The modified square shape and semi-rimless design make the frame appear slightly smaller and less visually heavy than full-rim frames with the same measurements.

Kliik K-776 vs. Similar Women's Eyeglasses

If you're considering the Kliik K-776, you might also be weighing other women's stainless steel frames in the $130 range. Here's how the K-776 compares to similar options in our collection.

K-776 vs. Kliik K-746

Both frames share Kliik's Scandinavian design DNA—lightweight stainless steel, minimalist geometry, and distinctive color combinations. The K-776's semi-rimless design offers a lighter, more open look compared to what the K-746 may offer, making it ideal if you prefer frames that feel barely there. If you want maximum durability and a bolder presence, explore the K-746. Both are prescription-ready and priced identically at around $130.

K-776 vs. Kliik K-689

The K-689 is another Kliik women's frame at the same $130 starting price. While we'd need to compare the specific designs side-by-side, the choice often comes down to rim style and shape preference. The K-776's semi-rimless modified square design creates a professional, understated look that's especially flattering for oval and round faces. If you're drawn to Kliik's aesthetic but want to see alternative shapes, the K-689 is worth comparing.

K-776 vs. Vera Wang V328

The Vera Wang V328 offers designer cachet and stainless steel construction in a similar price range ($129.75-$136.92). Vera Wang frames tend toward classic American designer style, while Kliik brings a more modern, Scandinavian minimalist approach. The K-776's two-tone color options (like Black Rose Gold and Ocean Gold) are more distinctive than typical designer palettes. If you value brand recognition, Vera Wang delivers; if you want unique color combinations and Scandinavian design, the K-776 stands out.

Why choose the K-776? The semi-rimless design, distinctive two-tone finishes, and Scandinavian minimalism make the K-776 a standout in the $130 price range. It's lighter and more modern-looking than many full-rim alternatives, yet durable enough for daily wear. The four color options give you flexibility to match your style, from professional (Taupe Gold) to bold (Ocean Gold).
