DESCRIPTION RATINGS & REVIEWS PRESCRIPTION GUIDE

The Nike 7056 Eyeglasses bring athletic performance engineering to everyday prescription eyewear. Built for active lifestyles, these full-rim frames feature a modern square shape that balances rounded facial features while delivering the durability and comfort Nike is known for.

Performance-Driven Design Features

What sets the 7056 apart is its flexible temple system. The highly adjustable temple tips bend to wrap securely around your ears, featuring a bold geometric grip pattern that provides added traction and prevents slipping during movement. Rubberized temple bars ensure an impeccable, secure fit whether you're at the gym, commuting, or working at your desk. The acetate frame material is lightweight yet durable, constructed from injected material derived from at least 40% castor bean oil—combining performance with more sustainable sourcing.

The 53mm lens width and 20mm bridge provide comfortable coverage for medium to large faces, while the full-rim construction offers maximum stability for your prescription lenses. These frames accommodate single vision, progressive, and bifocal prescriptions, making them versatile for various vision needs.

Style Meets Function

Available in four distinct finishes—Matte Black, Matte Dark Grey, Matte Industrial Blue, and Black—the 7056 offers options from understated professional to bold athletic. The signature Nike swoosh sits tastefully on the temples, adding brand recognition without overwhelming the clean, sport-inspired aesthetic. The square shape works well for those with round or oval face shapes, creating visual balance and a contemporary look.

With 145mm temples, these frames provide a secure fit that stays put during activity. The design philosophy is pure Nike: start with ergonomics and durability, then refine the aesthetics. The result is eyewear that performs as well as it looks, suitable for everything from intense workouts to business meetings.

Great product, but I do have some things to say.

The product game in great condition and was a good price compared to the local stores, however this does not change the fact that it came 3 months later than promised. Overall I believe shipping is something that should be improved upon if I ever want to buy from you guys again. Do appreciate the extra lens that came with the glasses.

Nike 7056 vs Nike 7090: Which Performance Frame Is Right for You?

Both the Nike 7056 and Nike 7090 are engineered for active lifestyles, but they serve slightly different needs. The 7056 features a modern square shape with highly flexible temple tips and acetate construction that includes at least 40% castor bean oil, offering a more sustainable material choice. Its geometric grip pattern and rubberized temples provide excellent security during movement.

The Nike 7090 takes a different approach with Grilamid TR-90 injected plastic—one of the most impact-resistant materials available in eyewear. Its dual-injected temples feature a distinctive sneaker tread pattern, and it offers seven color options including unique fade patterns and crystal accent colors. The 7090 has a slightly narrower bridge (17mm vs 20mm), which may suit smaller faces better.

Choose the Nike 7056 if you want a square shape for facial balance, prefer more sustainable materials, and value the 20mm bridge for a comfortable medium-to-large fit. Its four classic matte finishes work well in both athletic and professional settings.

Choose the Nike 7090 if you need maximum impact resistance, want more color variety including bold fade patterns, or prefer the narrower 17mm bridge. The TR-90 material offers exceptional flexibility and durability for high-impact activities.

Both frames are fully prescription-ready and feature Nike's signature performance details. The 7056 offers better value at $105.85 compared to the 7090's $102.94-$166.07 range, making it an excellent choice for those seeking Nike quality and performance at a competitive price point.
