Dissatisfied

I love the selection they have and my specific Ray bans were available at a great price. However I’m very disappointed with delivery of my sunglasses. I Had to throw out the pair. The right metal hinge was bent slightly making the temple arm pushing up one side of the rim making it impossible to wear. I’m assuming they were damaged in transport. I’m not blaming Designer Optics I’m sure they would not send out a damaged product. I have not made contact regarding damaged sunglasses as I was too frustrated. They get 3 stars for good website and quick delivery.

Product Comparison

Ray-Ban 4376 vs. Classic Aviators: Acetate Meets Icon

The Ray-Ban RB4376 offers a fresh interpretation of pilot styling that bridges vintage inspiration with contemporary design. If you're deciding between this modern acetate frame and Ray-Ban's legendary aviator collection, here's what sets them apart.

RB4376 vs. RB3025 Original Aviator Large Metal

The RB3025 Aviator Large Metal ($117.94–$281.00) is the original 1937 design that defined aviator sunglasses. Its thin metal construction, teardrop lenses, and adjustable nose pads deliver timeless minimalist style. The RB4376, by contrast, reimagines this silhouette in premium acetate with a slimmed-down pilot shape inspired by the 1984 cat-eye frame. The acetate construction offers a more substantial feel and eliminates the need for nose pad adjustments, while the high bridge fit and wide frame provide excellent coverage for larger faces. Choose the RB3025 for classic metal elegance; choose the RB4376 for modern acetate comfort with a contemporary edge.

RB4376 vs. RB3625 New Aviator

The RB3625 New Aviator ($133.70–$292.00) shares the double bridge design with the RB4376 but executes it in bold metal with thicker temples and intricate engraved detailing. Both frames offer a modern take on the aviator, but the RB3625's metal construction and distinctive rivet engravings create a bolder, more statement-making look. The RB4376's acetate build is lighter and more comfortable for extended wear, while the RB3625 appeals to those who prefer the weight and feel of premium metal frames. If you want double bridge style with lightweight comfort, the RB4376 is your best bet.

RB4376 vs. RB4125 Cats 5000

The Ray-Ban Cats 5000 ($176.00–$207.00) shares the acetate construction and 1980s heritage with the RB4376, but features a more rounded cat-eye shape rather than the pilot silhouette. Both frames deliver vintage-inspired style with modern comfort, but the Cats 5000 leans into retro glamour while the RB4376 maintains aviator DNA. If you prefer the classic pilot shape with contemporary refinement, the RB4376 offers better value and a more versatile look that works across casual and formal settings.

Bottom Line: The Ray-Ban RB4376 stands out as an excellent choice for those seeking aviator-inspired style with the comfort and durability of acetate construction. At $111.09–$176.00, it's competitively priced and offers prescription-ready versatility, making it ideal for anyone who wants iconic pilot styling with a modern, lightweight twist.
