DESCRIPTION RATINGS & REVIEWS PRESCRIPTION GUIDE

The Vera Bradley VBGrace Eyeglasses bring the brand's signature feminine style to everyday prescription eyewear. These full-rim rectangle frames are designed for women who want functional eyewear that doesn't sacrifice personality.

Acetate Construction Built to Last

The VBGrace frames are made from cellulose acetate, a plant-based material that outperforms standard injection-molded plastic. Acetate is naturally hypoallergenic and lightweight—you can wear these frames all day without pressure on your nose or ears. The material is more flexible and resistant to breakage than cheaper plastic alternatives, and it holds its color and shape over time, so your frames won't fade or warp with regular use.

Rectangle Shape for Versatile Wear

The VBGrace features a classic rectangle silhouette (53mm lens width, 15mm bridge, 135mm temples) that works well with round, oval, and heart-shaped faces. The straight lines add structure and balance to softer facial features. These frames are prescription-ready and compatible with single vision, bifocal, and progressive lenses. The full-rim design provides excellent lens security and works well for stronger prescriptions, as the frame edge helps conceal lens thickness.

Vera Bradley's Distinctive Touch

What sets the VBGrace apart is the attention to detail. The temple interiors feature Vera Bradley's iconic floral and paisley patterns—a subtle signature that's visible when you take your glasses off. Available in five colors, each offers a different combination of translucent acetate tones and patterned accents. The single-bridge design keeps the look clean and modern, while the acetate construction allows for easy adjustments by an optician to fine-tune the fit to your face.

These frames ship with a Vera Bradley case and cleaning cloth. A portion of proceeds from Vera Bradley eyewear supports the Vera Bradley Foundation for breast cancer research.

Go To A Real Eyeglass Store

Ordered eyeglasses and they weren't delivered quickly, as they claim. The frames don't look exactly like the ones I tried on in the store, even though this is the model number. And the arms of the glasses are straight, not at all bended around my ear, so they just fall off anytime I bend forward. Now I have a pair of glasses I don't like and can't return, so I'm going to spend more money getting another pair at an actual store.

Satisfied customer

The prescription seems spot on. I understand what the other reviewers were meaning about the frames being -not designer- but they are good quality and I don’t anticipate any problems. The only thing I was not satisfied with is the transition lenses. I can only get them to transition if they are out in the direct sunlight with no shade on them so they are not beneficial for driving. They also take up to two minutes to transition and I live in Florida so I definitely would have needed them darker than they go. I would have opted to leave that off but everything else came out very good.

Do not trust this company

This company clearly had my prescription and made lenses for obviously someone else. I took them to a professional store and they had to be fixed! On top of all that the shipping took over a week, and I still don’t get to wear them ! They told me they don’t give refunds on lenses!! So be careful before you purchase

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the Vera Bradley VBGrace frames prescription-ready?

Yes, the VBGrace frames are fully prescription-ready and compatible with single vision, bifocal, and progressive lenses. The full-rim rectangle design provides adequate lens height for progressive corridors and works well with a wide range of prescription strengths. You can customize your lenses with options like anti-reflective coating, blue light filtering, high-index materials for stronger prescriptions, and photochromic (Transitions) lenses.

What face shapes work best with rectangle eyeglasses like the VBGrace?

Rectangle frames like the VBGrace are especially flattering for round, oval, heart-shaped, and diamond face shapes. The straight lines and angular shape add structure and definition to softer facial features, creating visual balance. The 53mm lens width makes these a medium-sized frame suitable for most face widths.

What are the measurements of the Vera Bradley VBGrace frames?

The VBGrace measures 53mm lens width, 15mm bridge width, and 135mm temple length (53-15-135). This is considered a medium fit suitable for most adult women. If you already own glasses that fit well, compare these measurements to the numbers printed on the inside of your current frames to ensure a similar fit.

What is acetate and why is it better than regular plastic?

Acetate is a plant-based material made from cellulose (wood pulp and cotton) that's layered, cut, and polished into eyeglass frames. Unlike injection-molded petroleum-based plastic, acetate is hypoallergenic, more durable, and naturally flexible, making it less prone to breakage. Acetate also retains color better since the dye is embedded in the material layers rather than painted on, so your frames won't chip or fade over time.

Can I adjust the fit of the VBGrace frames if they feel loose?

Yes, acetate frames like the VBGrace can be adjusted by a licensed optician for a custom fit. Acetate becomes pliable when gently heated, allowing professionals to adjust the temple curve, nose bridge angle, and overall fit to match your face shape. Most optical shops offer complimentary adjustments. Proper fitting ensures the frames sit securely and don't slide down your nose.

What makes Vera Bradley eyewear different from other brands?

Vera Bradley eyewear is known for its feminine aesthetic, signature colorful patterns (often featuring florals and paisleys on the temple interiors), and quality acetate construction. The brand combines fashion-forward design with everyday wearability. Additionally, a portion of proceeds from all Vera Bradley eyewear sales is donated to the Vera Bradley Foundation for breast cancer research.

Vera Bradley VBGrace vs. Similar Vera Bradley Frames

If you're drawn to the Vera Bradley VBGrace but want to explore your options, several comparable models in our collection offer similar quality at competitive prices.

VBGrace vs. VBJoss

Both the VBGrace and VBJoss are priced identically at $104.55 and feature acetate construction with Vera Bradley's signature interior patterns. The main difference comes down to frame shape and color options. The VBGrace offers a classic rectangle silhouette that works well for round and oval faces, while the VBJoss may feature a different shape profile. Both are prescription-ready and offer the same durability and hypoallergenic benefits of acetate. Your choice depends on which frame shape and color patterns resonate with your personal style.

VBGrace vs. VBMariah

The VBMariah is another $104.55 option that shares the VBGrace's quality acetate construction and Vera Bradley design DNA. If you're deciding between these two, consider your face shape and style preferences. The VBGrace's rectangle shape adds structure and works well for softer facial features, while the VBMariah may offer a different silhouette. Both frames support the Vera Bradley Foundation for breast cancer research with each purchase.

VBGrace vs. VBCarlie

The VBCarlie sits at a slightly higher price point ($109.78) and may appeal to customers willing to invest a bit more for a different style within the Vera Bradley collection. The $5 difference is minimal, but the VBCarlie's distinct design may offer features like different sizing or shape options. If the VBGrace rectangle shape doesn't quite suit your face or style, the VBCarlie is worth considering as a close alternative.

Why Choose the VBGrace?

The VBGrace stands out as an excellent value at $104.55, offering Vera Bradley's signature feminine style in a universally flattering rectangle shape. The acetate construction ensures long-term durability, and the five colorway options (Neapolitan, Rio, French Paisley, Desert Floral, Superbloom) provide more variety than many competing models. If you want a reliable, stylish prescription frame that works for daily wear and supports a good cause, the VBGrace delivers.
