DESCRIPTION RATINGS & REVIEWS PRESCRIPTION GUIDE

The Vogue Eyewear 5356 eyeglasses bring contemporary style and everyday comfort together in a versatile pillow-shaped frame. Designed for women who want prescription eyewear that works from morning meetings to evening plans, these full-rim acetate frames balance a modern silhouette with practical wearability.

Pillow Shape That Flatters Multiple Face Shapes

The VO5356's pillow shape—a soft, rounded square—sits between traditional rectangular and round frames, making it a smart choice if you're not drawn to either extreme. The gently curved lines add softness without sacrificing structure, and the shape works well with oval, heart, and square face shapes. The full-rim design provides a defined look that frames your eyes without overwhelming your features.

Available in two lens widths (50mm and 52mm) and multiple colors including classic black, transparent pink, clear, dark havana tortoise, and violet, the 5356 gives you options to match your style. The transparent and pink options offer a lighter, more contemporary aesthetic, while black and havana deliver versatility that pairs with any wardrobe.

Saddle Bridge Comfort and Acetate Construction

The saddle bridge is a key comfort feature on the VO5356. Unlike adjustable nose pads that concentrate pressure on two small points, the saddle bridge spreads the frame's weight evenly across the top and sides of your nose. This design reduces red marks and pressure points during extended wear—a real benefit if you wear your glasses all day. The bridge is molded as part of the acetate frame, so there are no moving parts to adjust or replace.

The acetate construction offers durability and rich color depth. Acetate frames are lightweight yet sturdy, and the material holds up well to daily use. For prescription wearers, acetate's thicker rim profile helps visually conceal lens edges, particularly useful for stronger prescriptions.

Prescription-Ready for Your Vision Needs

These frames are fully prescription-ready and accommodate single-vision, bifocal, and progressive lenses. The 121mm total frame width and 17mm bridge width fit most adult faces comfortably, and the 140mm temples provide secure, stable wear. The injected temples are designed for lightweight comfort without flexing or feeling flimsy.

Vogue Eyewear, launched in 1973 and inspired by the fashion magazine, specializes in accessible designer eyewear for women. The brand focuses on trend-aware designs with quality materials at mid-range prices—frames that look polished without the luxury markup. The VO5356 fits that approach: a well-constructed everyday frame with enough style detail to feel special, priced to be practical.

Don't expect delivery any time soon....

From the date the order was placed, to the date the delivery was made, 30 days had passed. I have never ordered from this site before and to save $20 bucks, I don't think I will again in the future. 2 weeks had passed before I reached out for status of the order and the response received indicated the order was received and began processing. What happened in the first 14 days? Thankfully, I had my old glasses to get me by while waiting. It was also weird to receive the "demo" lenses with the order...not sure what I am supposed to do with them as the lenses are useless and cannot be placed in the frame. And my bad for missing "antiglare" as an option (apparently) because these glasses give me a headache and have the worst glare!

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Vogue 5356 eyeglasses prescription-ready?

Yes, the Vogue VO5356 frames are fully prescription-ready and can accommodate single-vision, bifocal, and progressive lenses. The acetate construction and full-rim design make them suitable for a wide range of prescription strengths, and the thicker rim helps conceal lens edges for stronger prescriptions.

What face shapes work best with the Vogue 5356 pillow frame?

The pillow shape of the VO5356—a soft, rounded square—is versatile and flatters multiple face shapes including oval, heart, and square faces. The gentle curves soften angular features while the structured shape adds definition to rounder faces, making it a good middle-ground option if you're between traditional rectangular and round styles.

What is the saddle bridge on these Vogue eyeglasses?

The saddle bridge is a smooth, curved piece of acetate that arches over your nose and distributes the frame's weight evenly across the top and sides. Unlike adjustable nose pads that create pressure points, the saddle bridge spreads weight across a larger area for comfortable all-day wear with fewer red marks or indentations.

What sizes are available for the Vogue VO5356?

The Vogue 5356 comes in two sizes: 50-17-140 and 52-17-140. The first number is the lens width (50mm or 52mm), the second is the bridge width (17mm), and the third is the temple length (140mm). The total frame width is approximately 121mm, which fits most adult faces comfortably.

What colors does the Vogue 5356 come in?

The VO5356 is available in multiple color options including W44 (black), 2864 (transparent pink), W745 (clear), W656 (dark havana tortoise), 2761 (violet), and 2940 (brown). The transparent and pink options offer a modern, lighter look, while black and havana provide classic versatility.

Are Vogue eyeglasses good quality for the price?

Vogue eyeglasses are positioned as mid-range fashion eyewear with good build quality and trendy designs at accessible prices. The frames use quality materials like acetate and offer comfortable fit, making them a solid choice for everyday wear. They're priced below luxury brands while delivering stylish, well-constructed frames suitable for daily use.

Vogue 5356 vs. Other Vogue Acetate Frames

If you're considering the Vogue VO5356, you might also want to compare it to other women's acetate frames in the Vogue collection. Here's how the 5356 stacks up against similar options in our catalog.

Vogue 5356 vs. Vogue 5030

The Vogue 5030 is priced slightly lower ($68.16-$90.29) than the 5356 and offers the same full-rim acetate construction and Vogue quality. Both are women's frames designed for prescription use. The main differences come down to frame shape and color selection—the 5356's pillow shape is particularly versatile for multiple face shapes, while the 5030 may have a different silhouette. If you're budget-conscious and like Vogue's aesthetic, the 5030 is worth considering, though the 5356's saddle bridge design and wider color range (including the popular transparent pink and clear options) may justify the small price difference.

Vogue 5356 vs. Vogue 5334

The Vogue 5334 sits at a higher price point ($88.28-$113.68) and represents a step up in the Vogue collection. Like the 5356, it features full-rim acetate construction and is designed for women. The 5334 may offer different styling details or frame shape that appeal to customers looking for something distinct from the 5356's pillow shape. If you're drawn to the Vogue brand but want to explore other shape options, the 5334 is worth a look—just be prepared to invest a bit more.

Why Choose the Vogue 5356?

The VO5356 hits a sweet spot in Vogue's lineup: it's priced competitively, offers excellent color variety (six options including on-trend transparent and pink), and features the comfortable saddle bridge design. The pillow shape is genuinely versatile—it works for customers who find rectangular frames too severe and round frames too soft. At $73.88-$87.14, you're getting a well-constructed acetate frame with modern styling and all-day comfort, making it a smart choice for your everyday prescription eyewear.
