DESCRIPTION RATINGS & REVIEWS PRESCRIPTION GUIDE

The L.A.M.B. LA132 Eyeglasses bring Gwen Stefani's signature rock-meets-glamour aesthetic to your everyday eyewear. These women's cat-eye prescription frames feature a bold, squared-off silhouette with softly upswept corners—a modern take on the classic cat-eye that adds definition without going full vintage.

Premium Acetate Construction

Built from high-quality acetate, the LA132 delivers the material advantages that make it the gold standard in designer eyewear. Acetate offers richer, more dimensional color than ordinary plastic, superior durability, and a comfortable, hypoallergenic fit that won't irritate sensitive skin. The full-rim design provides excellent lens support for prescription lenses, including single-vision, progressives, and readers. Spring hinges flex to accommodate different face widths and reduce pressure at the temples—a practical detail that makes all-day wear genuinely comfortable.

Three Distinctive Styles

The LA132 comes in three carefully designed colorways. The Ivory Tortoise features a mottled pattern mixing warm browns and blacks across the front, transitioning to a darker tortoise temple with subtle texture. The Blush variant pairs a translucent pink front with grey temples accented by a rose-gold shimmer pattern—feminine but not overly sweet. The Grey option offers a sophisticated neutral with tonal pattern details. Each frame measures 52-18-140, fitting most adult faces comfortably.

Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B. Collection

L.A.M.B. (Love. Angel. Music. Baby.) eyewear launched in 2016 and immediately made an impact, winning three Vision Monday Reader's Choice awards in its debut year. Stefani's hands-on design involvement shows in the details: bold shapes, luxurious hardware accents, and that mashup of classic Hollywood polish with modern street edge. These aren't quiet frames—they're for women who want their glasses to be part of the look, not an afterthought.

The LA132 is prescription-ready and ships with a protective case and cleaning cloth. Whether you're updating your everyday frames or adding a statement pair to your rotation, these cat-eye glasses deliver designer style at a competitive price point.

Not a happy customer

I bought frames that don’t fit, so I called to find out return info. Waited on the line for over 40 minutes, as my next in line number got lower, then instead of 4th in line I was bumped back to 10th in line?!?! Had things to do in the following days after that, so a couple days later tried to call in again. This time I opted to keep my place in line and wait for a call back…never came. After a few days and a few more attempts to reach someone, and almost a combined 6 hours on hold, with my next in line number switching each time to a larger number after extremely long wait times, again each call, I decided to search for an online form to fill out requesting return info. No response via email either. In the end I found a return policy page which states I need to reach customer service to request an rma# to make my return within 14 days … well, too late!! It’s been a few days longer than that and still haven’t been able to reach anyone for help. It looks like I’m just out the $167 and absolutely would not recommend designeroptics.com to anybody at all.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the L.A.M.B. LA132 eyeglasses suitable for progressive lenses?

Yes, the LA132 is progressive-eligible. The frame has sufficient lens height to accommodate the distance, intermediate, and near vision zones required for progressive lenses. The full-rim acetate construction and stable bridge fit help keep the optics properly centered for comfortable all-day wear with progressives.

What face shapes work best with the L.A.M.B. LA132 cat-eye frames?

Cat-eye frames like the LA132 are particularly flattering for round, oval, and heart-shaped faces. The upswept outer corners create an angular lift that adds definition and structure to softer facial features. The squared-off silhouette provides a modern, balanced look that works well for most face shapes.

What is acetate and why is it used for these frames?

Acetate is a premium frame material made from plant-based fibers (cotton and wood pulp). It's chosen for designer eyewear because it offers superior durability, lightweight comfort, and rich color possibilities that ordinary plastic can't match. Acetate is also hypoallergenic, flexible enough to adjust for a custom fit, and maintains its shape and luster over time.

Do these eyeglasses come with spring hinges?

Yes, the L.A.M.B. LA132 features spring/flex hinges that allow the temples to flex outward slightly. This design reduces pressure on the sides of your head, accommodates different face widths more comfortably, and helps prevent hinge breakage from everyday wear. It's a practical feature that enhances long-term durability and comfort.

What is included with the L.A.M.B. LA132 eyeglasses?

Each pair of L.A.M.B. LA132 eyeglasses comes complete with a matching protective carrying case and a cleaning cloth. All L.A.M.B. eyewear is backed by a one-year manufacturer's warranty against defects. The frames are shipped ready to have your prescription lenses installed.

What are the measurements for the L.A.M.B. LA132 frames?

The LA132 measures 52mm lens width, 18mm bridge width, and 140mm temple length (52-18-140). This is a standard adult size that fits most women comfortably. The full-rim cat-eye design provides a medium-to-bold presence on the face without being oversized.
