Waited 3 months for sunglasses on backorder. When I called to follow up, they said they JUST recd confirm that they have them. Then next day, they said they are actually out of stock. Credited me a refund in error and when I went to rebuild, he said the size was out of stock. Then within 24 hours he said they had them . Not sure how all these errors could occur in 2 days span
The service was fantastic.Great lenses, look great. But the glass arms are too wide and make them unbearable for me very uncomfortable. Tried removing the cushions for a more comfortable fit, but the arm itself is too sharp and cuts into my head.
I have had the privilege of working with Louis in your customer service department. I ordered 2 pair of American Optical Original pilot glasses. I am a pilot and have used that design from American Optical for over 30 years. I sat on my glasses and broke off the left side support.I was very happy to learn that this style is a stock product of yours.I was unaware of the different lense widths and when my glasses came they were much narrower than my glasses. when I called to see if I could exchange my new glasses for the same design in a wider Lense Louis was extremely helpful in getting me a return authorization and getting the correct size on the way. I am really impressed with you vast inventory and especially grateful for your customer support. Thanks Louis and to all your team. .
Ordered prescription sunglasses. Arrived in a timely matter and the lenses are great.
I understand that sometimes things take a while to ship, but it took 11 days from the time I ordered to the time I received the sunglasses. And we’re not talking about a prescription. We’re just talking about a simple pair of sunglasses. I’m also not gonna say that I will never order this company again, but I can assure anyone who reads this that I will make sure that I shop elsewhere and this place will probably be a last resort. Also, the website could do a better job of giving a more thorough description of the product they’re selling. Such as are the sunglasses polarized? What are the lenses made out of glass plastic, etc.

1- Please fill out this form Return Authorization Form to get an RMA # you will receive a RMA # with instruction on how to return them within 48 to 72 Business hours from the time you submitted the form. Wait for our confirmation e-mail before shipping back the return
2- Send the product back to us following the instructions indicated in our e-mail and to the address we will provide you.
3- Make sure to confirm with us via e-mail the shipping date, the shipping service you used and the tracking number whenever you have
4- Include details of the return and how you would like for us to go about it (refund, store credit, exchange, etc). Designer Optics is not responsible for items damaged along the way.
Please allow us 3 to 5 business days from when items are received for us to process the refund. The amount to be refunded will not include shipping charges. if the order consists of 3 or more frames we will charge a 20% Restocking fee. otherwise only the shipping will be deducted.
