Popeye!

I love the look and fit, but I can't keep one of the lenses from popping out of the frame. It arrived in the package with one lens out of the frame. Don't know how to remedy the problem.

Our experienced opticians can fit these frames with your custom prescription lenses while maintaining the original style and UV protection.

What is the lens size and fit of the AX2012S model?

The Armani Exchange 2012S features 62mm lenses with a 14mm bridge and 125mm temples, providing a medium to large fit. The pilot shape offers generous coverage, and customers consistently report the lightweight metal frame fits comfortably for extended wear. The double bridge design distributes weight evenly across the nose.

What's the difference between polarized and gradient lenses for these frames?

Polarized lenses reduce glare from reflective surfaces like water and pavement, ideal for driving and outdoor activities. Gradient lenses transition from darker at the top to lighter at the bottom, perfect for blocking overhead sun while maintaining visibility below. Both options offer full UV protection, so choose based on your primary use.

How durable are the Armani Exchange 2012S frames?

Yes, the Armani Exchange 2012S is excellent for driving. The 62mm pilot-shaped lenses provide wide coverage to block peripheral glare, and the 100% UV protection shields your eyes during long drives. Armani Exchange 2012S vs. Similar Aviator Sunglasses

Choosing between Armani Exchange aviator models? The AX2012S stands out with its distinctive double bridge pilot design and 62mm lens size, offering excellent coverage and a bold, contemporary look. Here's how it compares to other popular options in our collection.

AX2012S vs. Armani Exchange 2002

Both models deliver classic Armani Exchange style with metal construction and prescription-ready frames. The 2012S features a double bridge design that creates a more modern, architectural look, while the 2002 offers a traditional single-bridge aviator silhouette. The 2012S typically starts at a slightly lower price point ($73-$86) compared to the 2002 ($75.50-$89.71), and offers more lens options including polarized variants. If you prefer the iconic double-bar look and want maximum lens choices, the 2012S is your best bet.

AX2012S vs. Armani Exchange 2034S

The 2034S is the budget-friendly option in the Armani Exchange aviator lineup, starting at just $69.95. While both share the brand's commitment to quality and urban style, the 2012S offers a larger 62mm lens for better sun coverage and the distinctive double bridge that's become a signature of modern pilot frames. The 2012S also provides more color and lens variations. Choose the 2034S if you want to save a few dollars and prefer a more understated look; opt for the 2012S if you want the fuller coverage, bold styling, and wider selection.

Why Choose the AX2012S?

The Armani Exchange 2012S hits the sweet spot for men seeking contemporary aviator style without the premium price tag. The double bridge design, generous 62mm lenses, and lightweight stainless steel construction make these frames comfortable for all-day wear. With multiple lens options—gradient for driving, polarized for water activities, or solid for everyday use—you can customize your pair to match your lifestyle. Customer reviews consistently praise the fit, durability, and value, with many buyers reporting years of daily use.
