We placed an order for prescription glasses on November 20th. We went with them because their site said "Ships within 1 to 5 Days". Even after placing the order the confirmation email said "Ships within 1 to 5 Days".
On Nov 25 I checked in to see if my glasses had shipped. They let me know that they didn't even have the frames in stock yet! I mentioned the order stating "Ships within 1 to 5 Days" as well as pointing out that the same frames I ordered still said "Ships within 1 to 5 Days" on their site. They kept thanking me for my patience and said "they should arrive soon and that my order would be expedited.
I checked again on Dec 3 and got the same run-around. Frames still not in stock and they weren't sure when they would arrive. Again they told me as soon as the frames arrived they would be "expedited". I then asked how long does it take to put the prescription lenses in my frames once you receive them. I was told "3 to 10 days"!!!! So much for the "Ships within 1 to 5 Days".
I checked a 3rd time on December 12. I was told that the lab had them and they would ship no later than the 15th but they were "expediting" my order.
They finally shipped on Dec 16 (they didn't even make their 3-10 days after getting the frames). So the glasses I ordered and paid for 2 day shipping with a promise of "Ships within 1 to 5 Days" took a month to arrive. So much for the "Ships within 1 to 5 Days" or the "we're sorry they're late we will expedite your order". They did NOTHING they promised. They are filled with empty promises and they are NOT TO BE TRUSTED. If time is of the essence do not trust these folks.

1- Please fill out this form Return Authorization Form to get an RMA # you will receive a RMA # with instruction on how to return them within 48 to 72 Business hours from the time you submitted the form. Wait for our confirmation e-mail before shipping back the return
2- Send the product back to us following the instructions indicated in our e-mail and to the address we will provide you.
3- Make sure to confirm with us via e-mail the shipping date, the shipping service you used and the tracking number whenever you have
4- Include details of the return and how you would like for us to go about it (refund, store credit, exchange, etc). Designer Optics is not responsible for items damaged along the way.
Please allow us 3 to 5 business days from when items are received for us to process the refund. The amount to be refunded will not include shipping charges. if the order consists of 3 or more frames we will charge a 20% Restocking fee. otherwise only the shipping will be deducted.
