DESCRIPTION RATINGS & REVIEWS PRESCRIPTION GUIDE

The DKNY DK5013 eyeglasses bring New York energy to your everyday look. These women's rectangle frames are built from lightweight acetate with a full-rim design that balances durability and comfort. The 52mm lens width and 17mm bridge deliver a medium fit that works well for most face shapes, especially if you have round or oval features—the angular lines add definition without overwhelming your face.

Available in four versatile finishes: classic Black, Soft Tortoise, Tokyo Tortoise (a lighter, amber-toned pattern), and Teal Tortoise (a unique blue-brown blend). Each pair features the DKNY logo subtly placed on the temples and spring hinges that flex outward for a secure, pressure-free fit behind the ears. These frames are prescription-ready, so you can add single-vision, progressive, or blue-light-blocking lenses through your optician or our lens services.

The DK5013 sits in DKNY's core eyewear collection—modern, wearable frames designed for women who want style that doesn't require a second thought. The acetate construction is smooth to the touch and holds color depth well, whether you go for the sleek Black or one of the tortoise patterns. At 135mm, the temples curve gently inward for stability without pinching.

If you're looking for an affordable designer frame that works from the office to the weekend, the DK5013 delivers. It's straightforward, well-made, and versatile enough to become your go-to pair.

Did the trick, but…

An incident with my cat finding by glasses on the nightstand one night left me with a broken pair of frames. I hoped to just put my pricey lenses in a new set of the same frames. My optometrist told me my DKNY frames were no available. I was glad to find these frames on this website. Problem is that these were just a BIT different. Bigger frames. Different shape. I was able to get my lenses recut but I feel pretty confident that these frames are counterfeit and were misrepresented.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the DKNY DK5013 eyeglasses prescription-ready?

Yes, the DKNY DK5013 frames are fully prescription-ready. They arrive with demo lenses that can be replaced with your prescription lenses—single vision, progressive, or specialty options like blue-light blocking. The full-rim acetate construction provides a stable base for most prescription strengths, and the 52mm lens width offers enough vertical depth for progressive lenses.

What face shapes work best with the DKNY DK5013 rectangle frames?

Rectangle frames like the DK5013 are particularly flattering for round and oval face shapes. The angular lines create contrast that adds definition to softer facial curves and helps balance rounded features. Heart-shaped faces also benefit from the straight lines, which draw attention away from a wider forehead.

Do these frames have spring hinges?

Yes, the DKNY DK5013 features spring hinges on both temples. Spring hinges allow the arms to flex outward slightly, which prevents stretching the frame and ensures a comfortable, secure fit that won't become loose over time. This is especially helpful for all-day wear.

What is the size of the DKNY DK5013 eyeglasses?

The DKNY DK5013 measures 52-17-135: a 52mm lens width (medium), 17mm bridge width, and 135mm temple length. This is a standard medium fit suitable for most adult women. The measurements are printed on the inside of the temple arm for reference.

What colors are available for the DK5013?

The DKNY DK5013 comes in four color options: 001 Black (solid matte black), 240 Soft Tortoise (classic brown tortoiseshell), 281 Tokyo Tortoise (lighter amber-toned tortoise pattern), and 320 Teal Tortoise (a distinctive blue-brown tortoise blend). All are full-rim acetate frames with the same dimensions.

Are DKNY eyeglasses good quality?

DKNY eyeglasses are considered accessible luxury—quality frames at a mid-range price point. They're made from durable acetate with attention to detail like spring hinges and smooth finishes. DKNY is positioned as a fashion-forward brand with reliable construction, making them a popular choice for everyday wear that balances style and value.

Compare the DKNY DK5013 to Similar Frames

DKNY DK5013 vs. DKNY DK5008

Both are women's rectangle acetate frames from the same DKNY collection, but the DK5008 has a slightly smaller 51mm lens width compared to the DK5013's 52mm. If you have a petite face or prefer a more compact fit, the DK5008 might be the better choice. It also offers five color options including Burgundy and Navy, while the DK5013 focuses on four classic and tortoise finishes. Both feature spring hinges and full-rim construction at nearly identical price points—your decision comes down to sizing preference and color selection.

DKNY DK5013 vs. DKNY DK5021

The DK5021 leans more square than the DK5013's softer rectangle shape, giving it a bolder, more angular look. If you want maximum definition for a round face, the DK5021's sharper lines deliver more contrast. However, the DK5013's gentler rectangle is more universally flattering and versatile for different face shapes. The DK5021 is priced slightly higher and may feel more statement-making, while the DK5013 is the everyday workhorse.

DKNY DK5013 vs. Kate Spade Myrna

The Kate Spade Myrna offers a similar rectangle acetate frame at a lower starting price, making it a budget-friendly alternative. Kate Spade tends toward playful, feminine design details, while DKNY keeps things minimal and New York-sleek. If you prefer clean lines and understated branding, the DK5013 is the stronger choice. If you like a bit more personality in your frames and want to save a few dollars, the Myrna is worth considering. Both are prescription-ready and built for daily wear.
