Heaviest glasses ever

Frames were supposed to be light weight along with the lens 1.67 index or whatever. They are so uncomfortable and heavy I can’t wear them….. total waste of money.

Lenses keep popping out— not a great value

I initially Wa happy with the delivery and my glasses but it became clear quickly the quality is really subpar. The grips on the glasses arms slides off in a pitiful
Manner and the prescription lenses pop out of the glasses with even the slightest bend which is definitely not what you would hope for in a pair of sports sunglasses

Deeply regret purchasing from Designer Optics — avoid this company.

I deeply regret ever purchasing glasses from Designer Optics. They do not offer a virtual try-on option, so customers are forced to rely on the frame measurements provided on their website. I did exactly that. When my glasses arrived, the fit did not match what I expected based on those measurements, and the frames were far too large for me to wear.

I contacted Designer Optics hoping to simply exchange them for a frame that actually fit. Instead, they refused because my glasses had prescription lenses. I am now stuck with approximately $400 glasses that I cannot even wear.

What makes this especially frustrating is that many reputable optical retailers have policies that allow customers to exchange or remake prescription glasses when the fit doesn't work. Designer Optics repeatedly hid behind the fact that prescription lenses had already been made, as though the financial burden of their policy should fall entirely on the customer.

Their lack of flexibility and concern for customer satisfaction was incredibly disappointing. In my experience, they did not stand behind the purchase or make any meaningful effort to resolve the problem. Once they had my money, I was simply stuck with an expensive pair of unusable glasses.

I would strongly recommend purchasing your glasses elsewhere, especially when buying online. A company selling prescription eyewear without a virtual try-on option should have a reasonable solution when the frames don't fit. Designer Optics did not.

Avoid this company. I wish I had.
