DESCRIPTION RATINGS & REVIEWS PRESCRIPTION GUIDE

The Kate Spade Dalia Sunglasses bring a fresh, feminine take on the classic pilot shape. Built from lightweight stainless steel with a full-rim double bridge design, these aviator-style frames balance durability with all-day comfort—a combination that's earned them a loyal following among women who want prescription-ready sunglasses that actually fit well.

A Pilot Frame That Fits

The 58mm lens width and 13mm bridge make the Dalia a solid choice for medium faces, and the metal construction means your optician can adjust the fit precisely. The double bridge adds structure without weight, and the temples widen slightly at the tips for stability behind the ears. Available in three gradient lens options—gold with brown gradient, silver with gray gradient, and rose gold with brown gradient—each colorway pairs polished metal frames with striped temple accents that nod to Kate Spade's playful design DNA.

Aviator sunglasses like the Dalia are particularly flattering on oval, square, and heart-shaped faces, where the teardrop lens shape provides balance and definition. The 135mm temple length suits most head sizes comfortably.

Prescription-Ready for Real Use

These frames accept prescription lenses—single vision, lined bifocal, or progressive—making them a practical choice if you need corrective eyewear but don't want to compromise on style. The full-rim construction provides the stability required for most prescriptions, and the lens height accommodates progressive corridors without issue.

Customers consistently mention the fit and tint. One repeat buyer noted they keep ordering the Dalia because of the "great medium level of tint" and how well the frames sit on the face. Another mentioned owning a pair for seven years before losing them—a testament to both the style's longevity and the frame's durability.

If you're looking for women's aviator sunglasses that work as everyday prescription eyewear, the Kate Spade Dalia delivers on both function and that signature Kate Spade mix of polish and personality.

Good Sunglasses - broken case

I love these sunglasses and I'm glad I can still get them (this is my third pair as I've managed to lose one and another was stolen) but the case itself came totally beat up and dented on one side. I think I still have the old original case so it's not an issue and I'm glad the glasses themselves were not damaged. I think they were mailed that way though as the box wasn't busted up upon arrival so it's a little disturbing to see that I wasn't provided an appropriate case for them.

Love my sunglasses. Had a pair for 7 years and lost them last month. Just knew I'd never find a pair like them again. Was so excited to find them and get them in less than 2 weeks!!!

Very happy with my new Kate Spade sunglasses. The box and the case arrived damaged and this company replace the case with nothing more required than a photograph. Very happy. I will use this company again and recommend it.

Kate Spade Dalia vs. Dalia2: Which Aviator Sunglasses Should You Choose?

If you're deciding between the Kate Spade Dalia and Dalia2 sunglasses, you're comparing two very similar pilot-style frames—both feature the same flattering aviator shape, double bridge design, and lightweight stainless steel construction. The choice comes down to a few key differences in style details and color selection.

What They Share

Both models offer the same core benefits: a 58mm lens width that suits medium faces, full prescription compatibility (including progressive lenses), and that signature Kate Spade blend of classic shape with playful details. The metal frames are adjustable, comfortable for all-day wear, and feature gradient lenses that provide UV protection without being too dark for everyday use.

The Dalia: Classic Simplicity

The original Dalia keeps things straightforward. Available in 5 color combinations (gold/brown gradient, silver/gray gradient, and rose gold/brown gradient), it offers clean temple styling with striped accent details. Customers who've owned the Dalia for years appreciate its medium tint level and reliable fit. If you prefer a more understated aviator without extra embellishments, the Dalia delivers.

The Dalia2: Updated Details

The Dalia2 expands the color palette to 9 options and adds playful temple details, including versions with polka dot patterns and the 'Oh what fun' slogan near the brow end. The slim metal temples still widen at the tips for stability, but the added embellishments give the frame more personality. If you're drawn to Kate Spade's more whimsical design elements, the Dalia2 leans into that aesthetic.

Which Should You Choose?

Choose the Dalia if you want a classic pilot frame at the lowest price point, prefer simpler temple styling, or you've found a specific color combination you love in the original 5 options. Choose the Dalia2 if you want more color variety, appreciate the updated temple embellishments, or you're looking for a frame with a bit more Kate Spade personality. Either way, you're getting a well-made, prescription-ready aviator that customers return to again and again.
