New Kate Spade Frame Jeri in Grey

I was so happy to find the exact frame that I needed, to replace another Jeri Frame that I had damaged. The exact Color that I wanted had been on back stock a long time, so I was hunting all over to see if ANYONE had the color that I had wanted. Finally, as luck would have it, I came to discover Designer optics was selling a Kate Spade Jeri frame that was exactly the same measurements as my old one. It was the only one that was on Sale, and it was Grey. With tax and shipping, this new Jeri Frame came to $61.00 approximately. This was a fantastic price for ANY Kate Spade Frame, that I had EVER seen before!! I ordered it, and it came quite quickly!
It was packaged very carefully , and upon close inspection the Frame and the eyeglass case came to me in perfect Condition!! I will use Designer Optics from now on because they gave me a much better price than my Optometrist AND they also gave me faster insight into what frames were available and into which frames were the most popular for my round face. Thanks for a Flawless Experience!!

I never received my glasses.

Very disappointed in this company. I ordered my prescription glasses on Feb 11th. They were shipped out on Feb 13th, which was exciting. I thought they would be arriving soon! Well, they made it about halfway to my house, and for some reason, they were turned back around and sent back to the warehouse. I have called two separate occasions to speak to someone, and the gentleman couldn’t give me a reason as to why they would be sent back to them. I even spoke with USPS and they told me the package did have the right address. I have also been in contact with the company through email. The glasses were delivered back to them on Feb 26th. It is now March 4th and I have had no further communication from the company. The man I spoke to, told me they would immediately send them back out and go through UPS to get them to me in 3 days, but I have not received any update. Very frustrating. I ended up looking at the reviews on this company and they were not good. Big mistake on my part. I will not do any further business with this company.

Great Frames

I love the Kate Spade Jeri frames that I ordered, and I saved quite a bit buying them here instead of from the Ophthalmology office.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Kate Spade Jeri eyeglasses prescription-ready?

Yes, the Kate Spade Jeri frames are fully prescription-ready and can accommodate single vision, progressive, bifocal, and reading lenses. The full-rim acetate construction provides excellent lens support, making these frames suitable even for stronger prescriptions. You can also add blue light blocking, photochromic (Transitions), or high-index lens options when customizing your prescription.

What size options are available for the Kate Spade Jeri?

The Kate Spade Jeri is available in two lens widths: 50mm and 52mm, both with a 16mm bridge width and 140mm temple length. The 50mm size suits smaller to medium faces, while the 52mm works well for medium to wider faces. The frame measurements ensure a comfortable, balanced fit across various face shapes.

What material are the Kate Spade Jeri frames made from?

The Jeri frames are crafted from premium cellulose acetate, a plant-based material derived from wood pulp and cotton. Acetate is hypoallergenic, lightweight, and significantly more durable than standard injection-molded plastic. The material allows for rich, embedded colors that won't fade over time and can be easily adjusted by an optician for a custom fit.

What face shapes work best with the Kate Spade Jeri?

The Jeri's rectangular shape with softly rounded edges flatters oval, heart-shaped, and round face shapes particularly well. The angular frame adds definition to rounder faces, while the balanced proportions complement oval faces. The full-rim design and medium width make these frames versatile enough for most face shapes when sized correctly.

How durable are acetate eyeglass frames compared to plastic?

Acetate frames like the Kate Spade Jeri are significantly more durable than standard plastic frames. Acetate offers superior flexibility and strength, making it resistant to breakage from daily wear and tear. The material can withstand bumps and drops better than conventional plastic, and its flexibility allows for adjustments without cracking, ensuring long-lasting performance.

Do the Kate Spade Jeri frames come with a warranty?

Yes, authentic Kate Spade Jeri eyeglasses come with a manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. When purchased from an authorized retailer like Designer Optics, your frames are guaranteed 100% authentic and include full manufacturer warranty protection, typically covering one to two years from the date of purchase.

Kate Spade Jeri vs. Similar Rectangular Frames

Shopping for the perfect Kate Spade rectangular eyeglasses? The Jeri stands out as one of Kate Spade's most versatile and well-reviewed prescription frames, but how does it compare to similar options in the collection?

Jeri vs. Atalina

Both the Jeri and Atalina offer rectangular acetate construction at nearly identical price points ($50-$137 vs $55-$141). The Jeri has a more established reputation with extensive customer reviews praising its comfort and durability, particularly the curved temples and integrated nose pads. The Atalina may appeal to those seeking a slightly different aesthetic within the same quality tier. If you value proven customer satisfaction and a frame known for its universal fit, the Jeri is the safer choice.

Jeri vs. Brylie

The Brylie matches the Jeri's exact price range ($50-$137), making this a pure style decision. The Jeri's advantage lies in its seven colorway options—including the popular Havana tortoise and Blue Havana patterns—and its documented comfort features like the curved temples that provide all-day stability. Customer feedback consistently highlights the Jeri's ability to accommodate stronger prescriptions thanks to its full-rim design. Choose the Brylie if you prefer its specific aesthetic, but the Jeri offers more proven versatility.

Jeri vs. Payton

The Payton ($56-$141) sits in a similar price bracket and shares the Jeri's rectangular silhouette. Both are prescription-ready and crafted from durable acetate. The Jeri's key differentiators include its signature curved temples for enhanced stability and the integrated nose pads that prevent slipping without leaving marks—features specifically called out in customer reviews. The Jeri also offers two lens width options (50mm and 52mm), providing more sizing flexibility for different face shapes.

Why Choose the Jeri?

The Kate Spade Jeri stands out for its combination of proven comfort, versatile sizing, extensive color selection, and strong customer satisfaction. Its acetate construction delivers superior durability compared to standard plastic, while the thoughtful design details—curved temples, integrated nose pads, and balanced proportions—make it suitable for all-day wear. With a starting price of just $50 and prescription compatibility for single vision, progressive, and specialty lenses, the Jeri offers exceptional value in Kate Spade's designer eyewear collection.
