DESCRIPTION RATINGS & REVIEWS PRESCRIPTION GUIDE

The Longchamp LO2695 eyeglasses bring Parisian elegance to everyday wear. This women's rectangle frame is built from premium acetate in four sophisticated gradient finishes—Gradient Blue Peach, Gradient Burgundy Pink, Havana, and Black—each offering a soft fade of color that adds depth without overwhelming your look. The 53mm lens width and 17mm bridge (size 53-17-140) deliver a medium fit that works well for round and oval face shapes, adding definition where softer features need structure.

Full-Rim Acetate Construction

Acetate isn't standard plastic. It's a plant-based material made from cotton and wood pulp, known for being hypoallergenic, durable, and flexible. The LO2695's full-rim design wraps completely around the lenses, providing maximum stability and a polished, finished appearance. The frame features a keyhole bridge—a classic detail that distributes weight to the sides of the nose rather than pressing down on top, making it a comfortable choice for wider nose bridges and all-day wear.

Gold-tone metal accents on the temples add a refined touch, while the Longchamp branding is subtly embossed along the arms. These frames hold their shape well, resist everyday bumps better than injection-molded plastic, and maintain their color over time since the dye is integrated into the acetate itself rather than painted on the surface.

Prescription-Ready for Single Vision, Progressives & More

The LO2695 is fully prescription-ready. The 53mm lens height (37mm) provides enough vertical space for progressive lenses, bifocals, or standard single-vision prescriptions. You can add blue-light filtering, anti-reflective coatings, or transition lenses to customize these frames for your vision needs and lifestyle—whether you're working at a screen all day or moving between indoor and outdoor environments.

Affordable French Luxury

Since 1946, Longchamp has built a reputation for accessible luxury—the same philosophy behind their iconic Le Pliage bag. Their eyewear, manufactured by Marchon, reflects that balance: quality materials, thoughtful design, and a price point that doesn't require a second mortgage. The LO2695 is designed for women who want frames that look intentional and feel comfortable, without the fuss of overly trendy details that date quickly.

Still have not received my glasses

I provide instructions to add the prism to my initial order but it was ignored so I had to send them back. Then I was charged $60 for prism which I have never had to pay for. they agreed to charge me half, so I paid $30 but still have not received my glasses.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Longchamp LO2695 eyeglasses suitable for prescription lenses?

Yes, the Longchamp LO2695 frames are fully prescription-ready and compatible with single-vision, bifocal, and progressive lenses. The 53mm lens width and 37mm lens height provide enough vertical space for multifocal prescriptions. You can also add blue-light filtering, anti-reflective coatings, or photochromic (transition) lenses during customization.

What face shapes work best with rectangle eyeglasses like the LO2695?

Rectangle frames are especially flattering for round and oval face shapes because the straighter lines add definition and structure. The LO2695's medium width (53mm lens) also works well for heart-shaped faces, as the wider frame dimensions help balance a narrower chin. If you have a square or angular face, softer rounded frames might be more complementary.

How do I care for acetate eyeglass frames?

Clean acetate frames with lukewarm water and mild soap, then dry with a microfiber cloth. Avoid leaving them in hot cars or exposing them to extreme heat, as acetate can warp under high temperatures. Store them in a protective case when not in use. With proper care, acetate frames are highly durable and maintain their color and shape for years.

What makes acetate frames better than regular plastic?

Acetate is a plant-based material made from cotton and wood pulp, offering superior durability, flexibility, and hypoallergenic properties compared to petroleum-based plastic. Acetate frames are less prone to breakage, hold richer colors (since dye is integrated into the material rather than painted on), and are more resistant to warping and wear over time.

What is the size of the Longchamp LO2695 frames?

The LO2695 measures 53mm lens width, 17mm bridge width, and 140mm temple length (53-17-140), with a 37mm lens height. This is considered a medium fit suitable for most adult women. The keyhole bridge design helps distribute weight comfortably across the nose, making it a good option for wider nose bridges.

Is Longchamp a good eyewear brand?

Longchamp is a French luxury brand established in 1946, known for quality craftsmanship and affordable luxury. Their eyewear is manufactured by Marchon, a highly reputed worldwide eyewear partner. Longchamp frames are positioned as premium casual fashion eyewear—offering elegant design and durable materials at a more accessible price point than haute-couture labels.

Longchamp LO2695 vs. Similar Rectangle Frames

If you're considering the Longchamp LO2695, you're likely drawn to its gradient acetate finishes and medium rectangle fit. But Longchamp offers several other rectangle frames in the same collection that might better suit your face size or color preferences. Here's how the LO2695 stacks up against three close alternatives.

LO2695 vs. LO2616: Gradient vs. Solid Colors

The LO2616 shares the same full-rim acetate construction and rectangle shape, but swaps gradient finishes for six solid colors—Black, Grey, Havana, Nude, Red, and Sage. The LO2616 also has a slightly narrower bridge (16mm vs. 17mm) and shorter temples (135mm vs. 140mm), making it a better fit for smaller heads or narrower nose bridges. If you prefer the subtle fade of gradient acetate and need a longer temple for a secure fit, the LO2695 is the better choice. If you want classic solid tones and a more compact fit, go with the LO2616.

LO2695 vs. LO2608: Medium vs. Petite Fit

The LO2608 is designed for smaller faces, with a 51mm lens width (vs. 53mm on the LO2695) and a wider 19mm bridge. It comes in seven colors, including unique marble and tortoise patterns not available on the LO2695. The smaller lens height on the LO2608 may limit progressive lens compatibility, so if you need multifocals or prefer more vertical coverage, the LO2695's 53mm width and 37mm height offer more flexibility. The LO2608 is also priced slightly lower ($84.71–$94.15), making it a budget-friendly option for petite faces.

LO2695 vs. LO2613: Medium vs. Large Fit

The LO2613 steps up to a 54mm lens width with a narrower 15mm bridge, making it ideal for those who want fuller coverage and have slimmer nose bridges. It offers seven rich colors including Marble Purple, Marble Rose, and Wine—deeper, more saturated tones compared to the LO2695's softer gradients. If you have a larger face or prefer bold, statement colors, the LO2613 is worth considering. But if you want a medium fit with subtle gradient fades that transition from dark to light, the LO2695 is the more refined choice.

Why Choose the LO2695?

The LO2695 occupies a sweet spot: medium sizing that fits most adult women, gradient acetate finishes that add visual interest without being loud, and a 17mm bridge with keyhole design that distributes weight comfortably. It's prescription-ready for progressives, offers enough temple length for secure wear, and delivers that Parisian elegance Longchamp is known for—at a price point under $110. If you want a versatile, everyday frame that looks intentional but not overly trendy, the LO2695 is a strong pick.
