DESCRIPTION RATINGS & REVIEWS PRESCRIPTION GUIDE

The Nike 7015 Eyeglasses bring athletic performance engineering to everyday prescription eyewear. Winner of the Best New Sports Eyewear category at the VP Awards 2023, this rectangular frame combines Nike's sport-inspired design philosophy with all-day wearability for active lifestyles.

Lightweight Performance Construction

Built from bio-injected plastic with a full-rim design, the Nike 7015 delivers durability without bulk. The frame features rubberized nose pads and rubberized temple bars that provide a secure, comfortable grip—whether you're working at a desk or moving through your day. Ventilation cutouts at the temples help prevent fogging, a practical detail borrowed from Nike's sports eyewear heritage. At 55-17-145mm, the rectangular shape suits medium to larger faces and helps balance rounded facial features.

The temples incorporate a thin injected design with partial core wire reinforcement at the tips for added flex and stability. Nike's signature swoosh logo sits cleanly on each temple, understated but unmistakable. Available in four matte finishes—Matte Black/Dark Grey, Matte Black/Space Blue, Matte Dark Grey/University Red, and Matte Midnight Navy/Racer Blue—the color combinations pair neutral bases with athletic accent tones that reference Nike's performance DNA.

Prescription-Ready for Your Vision Needs

These frames are fully prescription-ready and compatible with single vision, bifocal, and progressive lenses. The full-rim construction provides the lens security needed for stronger prescriptions, and the 17mm bridge width and saddle bridge design help distribute weight evenly for extended wear. Customers report the frames work well with progressive lenses, making them a practical choice if you need multifocal correction.

One verified buyer noted the lightweight feel: "Great nike frames, very light weight." The frames ship with Nike's original case and cleaning cloth, and they're backed by a manufacturer's warranty against defects.

Designer Optics is AMAZING

I had my eyes checked at the local optometrist/eye glass store and really liked the Nike 7015 frames. Total cost with all extras (progressive lenses, etc.) was nearly $1500 before insurance. Insurance brought the cost down to just under $800. Per a recommendation, I visited Designer Optics and uploaded my prescription. The site was very user friendly, giving me the ability to check off all the options I wanted. The SAME frames with all the options cost $350... and that was without any insurance discounts. I will never buy glasses from anyone other than Designer Optics!

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the Nike 7015 eyeglasses compatible with progressive lenses?

Yes, the Nike 7015 frames are fully compatible with progressive (no-line bifocal) lenses. The full-rim rectangular design provides the vertical lens height needed for progressive prescriptions, and the 55mm lens width accommodates the multiple focal zones. Many customers successfully use these frames with progressive lenses for near, intermediate, and distance vision correction.

What is the frame size of the Nike 7015?

The Nike 7015 measures 55-17-145mm: 55mm lens width, 17mm bridge width, and 145mm temple length. This is considered a medium to large fit. The rectangular shape and saddle bridge design work well for medium to larger faces and help balance rounded facial features.

What material are the Nike 7015 frames made from?

The Nike 7015 frames are made from lightweight bio-injected plastic (nylon and propionate blend). They feature rubberized nose pads and rubberized temple bars for a secure, non-slip fit. The temples include partial core wire reinforcement at the tips for added flexibility and durability during active wear.

Do the Nike 7015 eyeglasses have ventilation to prevent fogging?

Yes, the Nike 7015 features ventilation cutouts at the adjustable temples specifically designed for fog-free wearability. This performance detail, borrowed from Nike's sports eyewear line, helps air circulation during physical activity or when transitioning between temperature changes.

What color options are available for the Nike 7015?

The Nike 7015 is available in four matte color combinations: Matte Black/Dark Grey (001), Matte Black/Space Blue (004), Matte Dark Grey/University Red (034), and Matte Midnight Navy/Racer Blue (410). Each colorway pairs a neutral matte base with athletic accent tones on the inner temples.

Are the Nike 7015 frames lightweight?

Yes, customers consistently describe the Nike 7015 as very lightweight. The bio-injected plastic construction keeps the frame weight minimal while maintaining durability. The lightweight design combined with rubberized contact points makes these frames comfortable for all-day wear, whether for office work or active use.

Nike 7015 vs. Nike 7402

At identical pricing ($127.38), the choice between the Nike 7015 and Nike 7402 comes down to design preference and features. Why Choose the Nike 7015?

The Nike 7015 distinguishes itself through award-winning innovation. The ventilation cutouts address a real problem—fogging during activity or temperature changes—that most standard frames ignore. The bio-injected construction delivers durability at minimal weight, and the rubberized grip points keep the frames secure without pressure.
